These disclosures describe the licensing behind CRWN’s services and the limits of what our services and this website provide.
Licensing
CRWN Accounting & Advisory holds a certified public accounting firm permit issued by the State of Michigan, and our professional services are performed in Michigan.
Not every member of CRWN’s leadership team holds an active CPA license. Services that require one are performed by, or under the supervision of, appropriately licensed professionals.
Audit and assurance services
Audits, reviews and other attest engagements are offered only where CRWN is permitted to perform them and are subject to professional independence requirements. Depending on the other services we provide to an organization, we may be unable to perform its audit or review. We will tell you if that applies to you.
Quality of Earnings and advisory services
Quality of Earnings reports, financial due diligence, fractional CFO support and other advisory services are not audits or reviews. Unless an engagement letter says otherwise, they do not express an opinion or any other form of assurance on financial statements.
Tax services
Tax results depend on the facts of each situation and on laws that change. We do not guarantee a particular outcome or refund, or that a tax authority will not challenge a position.
